Congratulations to my clients on securing their first home in Toronto and in one of my favorite areas of the city! I wish them wonderful memories in this gorgeous home as they start their next chapter.
Even with the 25 basis point reduction this week, the market continues to be slow, but the GTA is a tale of many micro-markets. The best pockets of the city (such as this one) and quality properties are standing out and still receiving multiple offers. This one was no different and we had to readjust our strategy as we were notified of the competition. The trick to winning multiple offer battles is to put forth the better offer, while remaining within market value. Anyone can buy anything with a blank check, but the savvy ones know how to come out on top, without being irresponsible.
